Freida Pinto has all of sudden been sought after by people on the net. The reason being she is playing a curcial role being directed by acclaimed director Danny Boyle in movie called Slumdog Millionaire (2008) . The story is about a person who goes to and wins the jacktop on Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Hindi version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. He has gone on the show to find his missing girlfriend Latika, played by Freida, who is a great fan of the show and always watches the show.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Hrithik Roshan And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Together Again?

The buzz around town is that the Dhoom 2 hot pair of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will once again team up together in a movie. This time the movie is going to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, . Aishwarya had previosly worked with Sanjay Bhansali during the making of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. While this will be the third time that Hrithik and Aishwarya will be together after Dhoom 2, Back In Action (2006) and Jodha Akbar, Jodhaa Akbar (2007) .

Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are in the jungles of Kerala shooting for Ramayan (Ravana) (2008) directed by Mani Ratnam. Aishwarya is being given high security to hide her look for the movie. Aishwarya is playing the role of Sita. The director is keeping all the cars away from the set and only allows staff to arrive by Jeep. Abhishek is playing the role of Rama and south Indian star Vikram plays the role of Raavan. The film will be made in Hindi and Tamil with Aishwarya playing the role of Sita in both versions.

Taiwanese actress Shu Qi was voted has having the sexiest lips.

Tonight was the start of the Indian Idol 4 with as usual the girls were on deck first to sing the best they could. This year hopefully one of the girl can make it to the end. There are some hopefulls that can and should last until the end. Late in the evening Mumbai , India's financial capital was rocked by coordinated attacks across the city by gunmen opening fire at major luxury hotels (Taj Mahal and Oberio Hotel), restaurant, rail station, police station and other major locations. At current hotels they even took hostages. At least three top Indian police officers were killed during the attack including chief of the anti-terror squad. More then 80 are believed to have been killed and more then 200 injured. The count will probably go up as the investigation processes into the attacks.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is developing a web based information system for India that will taken on Google Earth. In Gandhinagar yesterday, ISRO chief G. Madhavan Nair announced a new program named "Bhuvan", Sanskrit for Earth. The program will provide high resolution images of India and details of every destination. ISRO will launch an Indian Remote Sensing Satellite (IRS) called Bhuvan and an information portal called Bhu-Sampada. The information collected will be provided different government agencies for urban planning, traffic management, crop planning, education and forest planning. Some of the data will be free to users, while high resolution images will be provided for a cost. Bhuvan will be able to provide images upto 10 metres.

This year the black Friday deals are being promoted by the retailer sooner than usual. Given the market and consumer sentiment is low, the retailers want the first crack at the consumer spending and hence have already announced their Black Friday door buster deals online. Early this morning Best Buy released their offering on their site, Best Buy Black Friday Deals . Later today, Circuit City followed with their deals for Black Friday. The deals from both retailers include TVs, Blue Ray DVDs, camera, laptops and more.

The much awaited BlackBerry Storm has been delayed and will not probably arrive the stores on its expected date of Nov 14, 2008. Due to last minute software glitch, the phone launch has been delayed. The new smartphone will be the first to have touch screen interface for a BlackBerry and should give the iPhone and TMobile's G1 a run for money. Verzion Wireless will be the exclusively service provide for the BlackBerry Storm and could be priced around $200.

Last week was one of the worst week in the history of US financial markets with the Dow, SP and Nasdaq lossing a lot of ground, but today, the markets seems to have turned a corner with biggest point gain ever for the Dow. The Dow surged 936 points (11%), SP added 11.7%, Nasdaq added 11.8%. Has investors looked for bargins or bet that the worst of the credit crisis is over. We will have to wait to see if this is the start of a Bull market or just a one day shot up.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers made it's debut in India on 15 September, 2008 on Cartoon Network. The action adventure animated series will telecast from Monday thru Friday at 5:30 PM on Cartoon Network.
Bakugan Battle Brawlers is an animated series about the lives of Bakugan and the Battle brawlers. The series debuted in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 05, 2007. The debut in the USA was on February 24, 2008 on Cartoon Network.
Some of the main characters are Dan Kuso, Runo Misaki, Marucho Marokuro, Julie Makimoto, Shun Kazami, Alice Gehabich, Masquerade, Joe Brown and Hal G. There are many different types of Bakugans like Dragonoid, Tigrerra and Preyas, Hydranoid, Gorem and Skyress to mentioned a few.

Sania Mirza Sania Mirza Retires Pulls Out Of US Open

Sania Mirza has pulled out of the U.S. Open on because of a right wrist injury that flared at the Olympic Games. Sania had surgery on the right wrist back in April 2008 in Miami, Florida. This will leave India unrepresented in the singles events at the U.S. Open because Prakash Amritraj and Sunitha Rao both failed to qualify for the main draw of men's and women's events. The U.S. Open is scheduled to being Monday, August 25, 2008 in Flushing, New York, USA.

Sania Mirza had to retire hurt during her first round match in the Beijing Olympic Games because of a wrist injury. Sania was trailing Czech Iveta Benesova 1-6 1-2. The injury could also force Sania to miss her doubles first round match tomorrow. Sania is scheduled to play along with her partner Sunitha Rao against the French pair of Tatiana Golovin and Pauline Permentier. Top seed, Ana Ivanovic also had to withdraw from the single match due to a thumb injury. American Lindsey Davenport also pulled out of the singles and Maria Sharapova did not even make the trip to China becuase of her shoulder injury.

Sania Mirza is having some difficultly with coming back from her injugries. Sania has hard some tough losses in early rounds of big tournaments. Today was no difference, the Indian ace, Sania, lost in three sets to Czech Iveta Benesova in the second round. Sania had won the first set 4-6 but could not finish the match and Iveta won the last two sets 6-3, 6-3. The Hyderabadi girl had already lost in her doubles match just in the first round.

The New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on October 6 had surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL. A follow on surgery was performed this week becuase of some infection had developed. Brady who had a great 2007 season by throwing a single season record 50 touchdowns suffered torn ACL and MCL in the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 7.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo hurt his little finger during the overtime against Arizona on Oct. 12 will be out till mid November. Romo will miss the Sunday game at Tampa Bay and the following week at the rival New York Giants and hopes to return after a bye week against Washington on Nov. 16.
