Shilpa Shetty Receives Invitation From Michael Jackson

Shilpa Shetty has received an invitation from king of pop Michael Jackson to attend his brothers Jermaine Jackson's birthday party. Shilpa and Jermaine Jackson had taken part in international reality show Big Brother, where Shilpa had ended up winning.
Shilpa Shetty To Host Season 2 Of Big Boss

Shilpa Shetty the winner of the Big Brother UK, will be the host of Bigg Boss 2 Indian version of the show. The show will star to air on TV on August 17, it will also make it the first reality show to be telecast on all seven days of the week. The show is have 14 people locked into a house under the surveillance of over 30 cameras for a period of three months.

Shilpa Shetty the winner of the Big Brother UK, may be offered to host the next season of Bigg Boss 2 in India. Bigg Boss was last year hosted by Arshad Warsi. If Shilpa chooses to host the show, she could be paid more then Rs 8 Crores. Bigg Boss (India) will start after Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi, , hosted by Akshay Kumar , ends in August 2008. The new season of Bigg Boss will air on newly launched channel, Colors.

Shilpa Shetty has turned into an entrepreneur by setting up her won production company named, Shilpa Shetty Global Productions. The first movie to be produced by the new production house will be the film named VIP (2008) , which will also be co produced by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by Manish Jha. The movie will star Shilpa herself, along with Bipasha Basu. While Shilpa’s sister, Shamita Shetty , will not be seen on the screen in the movie but will play key role behind the scene as she is the creative producer for the film.

The DVD is being released by Fire Fly in UK and Dubai for £ 17.99 (approx Rs 1,400). Shilpa took training from trainers Shiv Kumar Mishra and Vinayak Dixit before shotting the DVD to ensure poses were presented in the correct manner.

Shilpa Shetty has shot for an item number on the beach in Miami for the forthcoming movie Dostana (2008) being directed by Tarun Mansukhani. She item number has already been shot in which Shilpa is wearing a bikini. Initially this song was going to be picturized with Priyanka Chopra but she refushed and hence Karan Johar approached Shilpa. The movie stars include Abhishekh Bachchan and John Abraham along with Priyanka Chopra . The movie make be a remake of the 80s classic which starred Amitabh Bachchan , Shatrughan Sinha and Zeenat Aman in the lead role.
