Amitabh Bachchan to dance in the title song, a semi-qawwalli track, of the film, Jhoom Baraabar Jhoom being directed by Shaad Ali with music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Gulzar the pair behind Kajra Re from Bunty Aur Babli . The movie also stars Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bachchan , Preity Zinta and Lara Dutta .

The Avlon Group of Cinemas is providing the facilities in South Africa and Qatar Airways will be sponsoring air travels from India to South Africa for the entire cast and production crew. Aishwarya Rai diagnosed with laryngitis

Upon her return to Mumbai from her perform at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Aishwarya Rai has been diagnosed with laryngitis. Her with her busy schedule will now have to taken some rest and postpone the shoot of J.P. Dutta ’s Umrao Jaan in Lucknow. She had been in Rio de Janeiro with Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan shotting for Dhoom 2 , she plays a negative role in the movie, and then had flew to Melbourne, Australia to perform at Commonwealth Games.
