	Umrao Jaan vs Don vs Dhoom 2 for Diwali Date: 07/11/2006 J.P. Dutta’s Umrao Jaan has been scheduled for release on October 20 which is the same time that Don and Dhoom 2 are scheduled to be released. Umrao Jaan stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai and is directed by J.P. Dutta. Don stars Shahrukh Khan (SRK) and Priyanka Chopra . Dhoom 2 stars Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu .

Dhoom 2 release pushed to Nov 24, 2006 instead of being released during Diwali week. The director Aditya Chopra requires more time to finish the final touches on the film. Currently the cast of Dhoom 2 is still on location in foreign destination and hence rushing the finish would not the best choice. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan , Hrithik Roshan , Uday Chopra, Bipasha Basu , and Rimi Sen .

Harvard University to honor academically honor Bollywood movie Krrish . The movie is directed by Rakesh Roshan and stars his son Hrithik Roshan along side Priyanka Chopra . Krrish will mark the first Indian movie to be listed for international case study per Indian Institute of Management in collaboration with the Asia Case Research Center, University of Hong Kong and Harvard Business Case Clearance House.

Mallika Sherawat will soon be playing a role of a female cadet in the Indian Army in a movie titled Fauj Mein Mauj being directed by Murli Nagavalli. The movie has been inspired by the 1980-Howard Zieff directed comedy titled Private Benjamin. It's a comedy story of what happens when a sexy young woman joins the army more like the Police Academy series.

Rang De Basanti is going to be watched by the 95 member team (Hollywood Foreign Press Association) the official body for Golden Globe Awards. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association screens movies before arriving at the nominations decision and announcement towards the end of the year. Rang De Basanti was directed by Rakesh Mehra and stars Aamir Khan and Soha Ali Khan .

Blasts on Mumbai local commuter trains and stations in the Indian financial capital of Mumbai (Bombay). The explosions occurred at packed railway stations in the Matunga, Khar, Santacruz, Jogeshwari, Borivali and Bhayendar. The explosions brought back memories of the March 1993 serial blasts that left over 250 people dead.
