|  | Aishwarya Rai Bachchan May Sue Elle Magazine

A recent picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the cover of magazine Elle may have been touched up to make her look more fair (white). The readers were angered after it was suggested that the fashion magazine might have digitally “bleached” the complexion of the former Miss World. The picture in question is a recent cover of magazine Elle in which Aishwarya is dressed in a Rohit Bal’s Victorian styled gown. Previously the magazine had also featured an African-American actress Gabourey Sidibe on its cover page with a much paler complexion, for its US edition in September this year.
