Asin Thottumkal Music Released For Dasavatharam

Jackie Chan arrived in Chennai to launc the music of Kamal Hassan's, Dasavatharam. The movie stars Asin Thottumkal , Mallika Sherawat and the music director Himesh Reshammiya and is scheduled for release in June.
Jiah Khan Jiah Khan Out Of Ken Ghosh film

Jiah Khan has been removed from the upcoming movie to be directed by Ken Ghosh. The movie is a musical film (probably named Star (2008) ) and stars Shahid Kapoor . Reports have it that Jiah has been removed from the movie cast after Shahid requested that she be replaced because Jiah wanted to hang out with Shahid soon after they were introduced on the sets. Initially Jiah apprehensive about signing with Ghosh because of her strict contract terms with Aamir Khan 's Ghajini (2008) .
Aamir Khan Aamir Khan Hurt While Shooting For Ghajini

Aamir Khan Aamir Khan was hurt on the set of is upcoming movie Ghajini (2008) while shooting a fightling scene for the movie. The incident involved him lifting a person and throwing him into the wall, but when Aamir limited the person his hamstring muscle tore up. He was rushed to a local nursing home and received medication. Aamir will now be resting until going back to finish the shooting for Ghajini (2008) . Now Aamir will use the rest and maybe finish up on the post production of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008) Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

World under rice shortage? The price for rice seems to be going up daily and now there are countries putting limits on exports and also local stores in the US putting limits on how much can be bought by an individual. As the world population and consumers of rice grows, the supply seems not to be keeping up with the rise in demand. Price of rice have gone up by more then 30 percent in the two years from 2005 to 2007. Of the world rice 80 percent is grown in Asia. Major exporters of rice are India, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam, and United States. Rice is being imported by Bangladesh, Brazil, Indonesia, Iraq, Philippines, and the Arab world.
The LCD monitors and TV are getting thinner by the day. When plasma TV first came to the market, people were left wondering where did the big caboose behind the screen go? Sony now has introduced the Sony XEL 1 OLED TV . A 11 inch widescreen television which is wafer thin with 1/8th of an inch deep. The model uses new panel technology called OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) and hence is priced at $2,500.

Danica Patrick Danica Patrick Wins One
Danica Patrick finally won the big race. Danica is a race car driver and probably was not favoured to win any race in which mostly men are race car drivers. Now she has proved her critics wrong by capturing first place in Sunday’s Indy 300 race in Motegi, Japan. Danica was the first female to hold a lead in the Indianapolis 500 three years ago and has kept herself in the new since then. She is backed by sponsors like Motorola, XM Satellite Radio and Go Daddy.

The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders arrived in India on April 10 to create and train the first ever cheerleading squad in the country for the Royal Challengers Bangalore Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team. The Redskins Cheerleaders will stay in India until end of the season in mid June.
