Indore, India. Indian opener Virender Sehwag smashed record 219 against West Indies in the 4th ODI being played at Indore, India. Sehwag's 219 is the highest score in one-day cricket. His 219 came of just 149 balls, with 25 boundaries and seven sixes, to lift India to their best one day total of 418 for 5, while the West Indies were bowled out for 265. Sehwag joined teammate Sachin Tendulkar as the only batsmen in history to score double-centuries in the 50-over format. Debutant leg-spinner Rahul Sharma picked up three wickets in his first three overs.
