Sony Playstation 3 was release in the US on Nov 17, 2006. In some cases people had been waiting outside store since Monday to be first to get the new offering by Sony. Sony has been plaqued by software bugs and shortage of supply. The new Sony Playstation 3 offers Blu-ray DVD player. It will complete against the MicroSoft Xbox 360 and soon to be release Nintendo Co. Wii , which will hit the market Nov 19, 2006.
