Shahrukh Khan In Exchange Of Words With Shiv Sena
Date: 02/06/2010:
Just before release of his movie, My Name Is Khan (MNIK) (2010) on 12 February 2010 Shahrukh Khan has be embroiled in a exchange of words with Shiv Sena for favouring Pakistani players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and supporting them. On Saturday SRK said that he didn't owe an apology to the party but was not seeking a "confrontation" either. In an interview to a TV channel, SRK said," I have not said anything that is anti-national." Some of the posters of his movie have been burned and taken down, and now the release of this movie in Mumbai could be in jeapordy.
Now the questions all Indian must ask is that is this fare that a person in a Decormatic conutry cannot speak his mind without being afriad of remification of this words from a political party from within the country itself? Do we really want such fear withour own people or do we want to leave as one?

Khan Vs Khan Round 3

For the last two years, two of Bollywood's biggest Khan's Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan have had movie releases in late in the year close to each other. In 2007, it was SRK in Om Shanti Om (2007) and Aamir Khan in Taare Zameen Par (2007) , then in 2008 it was SRK with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (RNBDJ) (2008) with Aamir following with biggest box office hit of the year Ghajini Remake (2008) , now in 2009 the two stars will have releases close to each other, SRK's My Name Is Khan (MNIK) (2009) is scheduled to release in november 2009, while 3 Idiots (2009) starring Ammir will release on December 25, 2009. We will have to wait and see which film hits box office success this time.
Will Shahrukh be able to overcome Ammir last two success and come out on top in 2009?

Shahrukh Khan Probably Will Have Shoulder Surgery

Shahrukh Khan (SRK) is currently back home in Mumbai , India. Before leaving for Los Angeles to shooot for Karan Johar 's My Name Is Khan (MNIK) (2009) SRK was adviced by the doctor to immediately perform the shoulder surgery and not to delay it. The shoulder ligament were tore during shooting for Dulha Mil Gaya (2009) last December. SRK will now have to wait for the surgery since his home production Billo Barber (2009) will be releasing February 13, 2009.

Shahrukh Khan And Aamir Khan Together In A Movie

Shahrukh Khan (SRK) and Aamir Khan will both been seen in the upcoming movie Luck by Chance (2009) directed by first time director Zoya Akhtar , sister of Farhan Akhtar and daugther of well known poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar . The two stars are in the same movie, but do not share any onscreen scene time together. They both play themselfs in the movie, Shahrukh interacts with Farhan and Aamir with Konkona Sen Sharma . The movie is due to release on January 30, 2009.

Shahrukh Khan And Karan Johar To Be At 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Shahrukh Khan (SRK) and Karan Johar will be at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards which will be held this weekend at the Beverly Hilton in California, USA. Shahrukh and Karan are currently in Los Angeles shooting for Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan (2009) . The two will be introducing the Drama Category Award for which Slumdog Millionaire (2008) has also been nominated. The movie directer Danny Boyle and music composer A R Rahman will also be present at the award function.

Shahrukh Khan Boulevard in Dubai
Date: 10/09/2008:
Over the weekend, Shahrukh Khan (SRK) announced that he has teamed up with a United Arab Emirates (UAE) real estate firm to build a signature beachfront residential project in the gulf country with a budget of 2.17 billion dollars (USD). The project will be located on the Dana Island in Ras Al Khaimah. Shahrukh will work with a Los Angeles based architect Tony Ashai during the design of the beachfront community comprising 10 residential towers along with specially designed studios, and one and two bedroom apartments and townhouses, piers and boardwalks besides marine sports and leisure facilities. The project is scheduled to complete in 2012.

Temptation Reloaded 2008 In Germany

Now that the The Unforgettable Tour has finished its world tour, its is going to be Shahrukh Khan that will come out to mesmerizes the audience with a live tour. The tour is called Temptation Reloaded 2008 and set to begin with a live performance in Berlin, Germany on October 17, 2008, followed by Munich, Germany on October 18 and Frankfurt, Germany on October 19. The tour will also include other stars from Indian cinema like Aamir Khan , Priyanka Chopra , Malaika Arora , and Arjun Rampal . Comedian Kaya Yanar will also be part of the tour.

Shahrukh Khan Receives Notice The Bombay High Court
Date: 09/04/2008:
Today, the Bombay High Court issued a notice to Indian cinema actor Shahrukh Khan in regrads to an illegal construction in the backyard of his palatial bungalow Mannat at suburban Bandra, Mumbai. The is in reference to apartnelty 32 violations of law in the construction. The PIL was filed by social activist Simpreet Singh and contained allegation that the construction was done by merging 12 flats meant to house the poor.

SRK's Temptation Reloaded 2008 Tour

Shahrukh Khan launchs his own tour which has already begun in June 2008 and will continue thru the summer. Now two of Bollywood's star will be on tour at the same time. The Bachchan's Unforgettable World Tour, which is suppose to star in July 2008 will have to go against the king of Bollywood, SRK , who has already had a great show in Ahoy, Rotterdam, Holland. The Temptation Reloaded 2008 Tour, will feature Shahrukh Khan himself, along with Kareena Kapoor , Katrina Kaif , Ganesh Hedge, Arjun Rampal , Anuska Dandekar, and Javed Ali.

TV show Dus Ka Dum is going all out with celebrity guests. First cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh came on the show, then just last week it was Aamir Khan and Imran Khan to promote their upcoming movie, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008) and now news has it that king khan, Shahrukh Khan will be coming on the show as a guest whom himself is a host of a game show, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain which has received competition from Salman Khan 's Dus Ka Dum.

Taare Zameen Par Shines At Filmfare Awards

Taare Zameen Par got the best of the awards at the 53rd Annual Filmfare Awards that was recently held at the Yashraj Studio in Mumbai, India. A lot of Bollywood stars had gathered to be at the awards. Taare Zameen Par (TZP) won the award for best film, best directory ( Aamir Khan ), best actor, best story and lyricist (Pasoon Joshi). While 11 year old star Darsheel Safary from Taare Zameen Par won the Critics Award for the Best Male Performance. Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) won the award for Best Actor Award for Chak De India . Chak De India also picked up the Best Cinematography and the critics award for the Best Film. Kareena Kapoor won Best Actor (Female) award Jab We Met . Rishi Kapoor received the Lifetime Achievement Award and his son Ranbir Kapoor got the Best Newcomer Award for his role in Saawariya . Another new comer Deepika Padukone won for Best Female Debutante and Fresh Face Award for Om Shanti Om . Konkona Sen Sharma and Irfan Khan won for Best Supporting Actor (Female and Male) for their role on Life in a Metro . While Tabu picked up the Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor in Cheeni Kum . A R Rehman won for the Best Music Director for Guru. Shah Rukh Khan To Host TV Show

Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) has signed on to host a game show on Star TV named "Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?", which is based on a international Mark Burnett format “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” game show. The game show will test the knowledge of adult contestants against a group of 10-year-olds. The originated in the United States and now is seeing in over 50 countries.

Bollywood Stars Buy Into Cricket

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Preity Zinta have into the Indian Premier League (IPL) . Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Juhi Chawla Juhi Chawla picked up the Kolkata team for $75.09 million while Fellow actor Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia won the Mohali team for USD 76 million. The Mumbai team was won by Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani for $111.9 million and GMR Holdings won the bid for the Delhi team for $84 million, India Cements grabbed the Chennai team for $91 million, Deccan Chronicle got the Hyderabad team for $107.01 million and Emerging Media won the bid for the Jaipur team for $67 million.

Shah Rukh along with his wife Gauri Khan flew to London to be part of the unveiling of his status. SRK is the 3rd Bollywood actor to be part of the museum which has already has wax status of Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai .
