Just before release of his movie, My Name Is Khan (MNIK) (2010) on 12 February 2010 Shahrukh Khan has be embroiled in a exchange of words with Shiv Sena for favouring Pakistani players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and supporting them. On Saturday SRK said that he didn't owe an apology to the party but was not seeking a "confrontation" either. In an interview to a TV channel, SRK said," I have not said anything that is anti-national." Some of the posters of his movie have been burned and taken down, and now the release of this movie in Mumbai could be in jeapordy.
Now the questions all Indian must ask is that is this fare that a person in a Decormatic conutry cannot speak his mind without being afriad of remification of this words from a political party from within the country itself? Do we really want such fear withour own people or do we want to leave as one?

Couple of days after her engagement to her childhood friend and businessman Sohrab Mirza, Sania Mirza was back at the stadium in Hyderabad to practice tennis. Sania was wearing an engagement ring on her henna filled hands. Her fiance was sitting and watching her at the Lal Bahadur Stadium. Sania will be leaving soon for the hard court season on July 16, which starts with Lexington Open followed by Stanford Cup, Vancouver and the Bronx and then she will take part in the U.S. Open Tennis Championship in August 2009.

Sania Mirza was knocked out of the singles match at the French Open by Kazakhstan's Galina Voskoboeva in Roland Garros, score of 4-6 6-7 (3). Sania and her doubles patner Chia-Jung Chuang from Taipei, were able to defeat Ipek Senoglu and Yanina Wickmayer in straight sets to continue to the next round.
On a personel note, Sania will be engaged on July 10 to her classmate from her school days, Hyderabad based businessman, Mr. Muhammad Sohrab Mirza. With wedding date to be formalised later. Also, it is not clear whether Sania will continue playing tennis after marriage or not. Sania Mirza is the first Indian Woman to win a WTA Singles Title and break into the world's top 50. She won a Grand Slam Title this year, when she won the Australian Open Mixed Doubles Titles, with her partner Mahesh Bhupathi.

Sania Mirza and her doubles partner from Taiwan, Chuang Chia Jung won the MPS Group doubles title in Florida. The unseeded duo stunned the top seeded pair of Czech American of Kveta Peschke and Lisa Raymond 6-3 4-6 10-7 in a one and a half hour battle to notch their first title together. The win helped Sania jump 11 places to the 59th position in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings in doubles while her singles ranking still stand at 100. Chuang jumped three places to be at the 14th spot. The duo had just recently reached the semi-final at Miami last week.
Now Sania will play in the USD one million Family Circle Cup clay court tennis tournament, and will face Kazakh Sesil Karatantcheva in the opening round. They last played against each other back in 2004, and ended up losing.

The new Apple iPad will cost around $499 and comes with a 9.7-inch LCD touch-screen display with 1024x768 resolution which will makes use of the same multitouch technology found on the iPhone, and 1 Ghz custom Apple chip and will come in 16, 32, and 64GB capacities for $499, $599, and $699, respectively for the Wi-Fi version, the 3G wireless modem version will be available from AT\&T with a new plan options of $15 a month for 250MB of data, or unlimited for $29.99 a month. The iPad with just Wi-Fi will be shipping in the next 60 days, while the 3G version will be in the market in the next 90 days.

On January 05, 2010, Google announced the avaliability of Nexus One , a smartphone from Google built by Taiwan's HTC Corporation and uses Android open source mobile operating system. Some of the features of the phone include the ability to transcribe voice to text, noise canceling dual microphones, and voice directions while driving. The phone is available locked and unlocked. Locked version from T-Mobile in the United States. The Washington Redskins season ended on Sunday night after a 4th quater loss to the San Diego Chargers 23 to 20 in a season filled with injuries and last minute losses. On Monday morning, new General Manager Bruce Allen fired Jim Zorn after a 4-12 season. Zorn was coach of the Redskins for the last two years with a great start his first season, but the 2nd half of 2008 season and all of 2009 season the team struggled to win games. He was hired by owner Dan Snyder back in January 2008 as a offensive coordinator but later was named the team's head coach.
Now the team has hired former Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan as the 28th head coach of the Washington Redskins. Mike will be seventh head coach hired by Snyder since he bought the team in 1999.

In 2007, it was SRK in Om Shanti Om (2007) and Aamir Khan in Taare Zameen Par (2007) , then in 2008 it was SRK with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (RNBDJ) (2008) with Aamir following with biggest box office hit of the year Ghajini Remake (2008) , now in 2009 the two stars will have releases close to each other, SRK's My Name Is Khan (MNIK) (2009) is scheduled to release in november 2009, while 3 Idiots (2009) starring Ammir will release on December 25, 2009. We will have to wait and see which film hits box office success this time.
