The Bachchan's 'Unforgettable' World Tour

The Bachchan's are in preparation for their world tour called Unforgettable Tour, . The tour is set to being on July 18, 2008 in Toronto followed by performances at Trinidad, Tobago, Houston, Atlantic City, New York, Vancouver, and London. Currently Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan are rehearsing the performances at a hall in Juhu, Mumbai . Aishwarya will be performaing the hit 'Dola re..' number from Devdas (2002) with Madhuri Dixit, . The Bachchan family trio will also be performing the famous song 'Kajra re' from the hit movie Bunty Aur Babli (2005) . Others joining the tour include Bollywood actors Preity Zinta, , Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh , choreographer Shiamak Davar and music duo of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani .

Salman Khan To Host TV Show Dus Ka Dum

Salman Khan has gotten on the TV show band wagon. First it was Amitabh Bachchan , Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) , Akshay Kumar and now Salman Khan . Salman has been signed to host a Sony Entertainment Television game show called Dus Ka Dum which is inspired by the US game show Power of 10 which will begins on June 6, 2008.

Sonal Chauhan In Raaz 2
Date: 05/21/2008:
Sonal Chauhan has had a good start to her Bollywood debut. Her first movie Jannat (2008) was relased on May 17, 2008 which also happended to be her birthday. The movie has done well at the box office within India as well as overseas. The movie is maintaining it's tickets sales even with the flurry of IPL matches going on in India. The movie also stars Emran Hashmi and is directed by Kunal Deshmukh. Given the success the film has brought the producers, Mukesh Bhatt, they have signed Sonal for Raaz 2 (2008) the sequel to Raaz (2002).
Sonal was also recently in the news because of some confrontation she had with her long time companion Sahil Zaroo, an accused in the Rahul Mahajan drug case, at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. The incident happended at the Jet Airways counter as Sonal was collecting her boarding pass for a flight to Hyderabad. This is when Sahil Zaroo, who was also booked on the same flight, appeared and seemed liked a minor altercation has started between the two, which ended with Zaroo slapping Chouhan and then throwing Sonal's mobile phone on the floor, then running from the scene. CISF officials posted at the airport caught hold of him immediately.

On Monday 19 May 2008, Nintendo Co Ltd launched it's long awaited "Wii Fit" exercise game within the United States. The new game hopes to get the couch potatoes and women to join in on the gaming fun. The Wii gaming console has already become a great hit with kids and man. The new game will cost $90 and comes with balance board that will senses shifts in posture. The Wii Fit will offer over 40 activities in four categories including aerobics, strength training, balance and yoga. It will also track users Body Mass Index and weight and provide nice charts of their progress and provide fitness tips. While Microsoft and Sony have put their focus on high definition, ultra realistic games, Nintendo instead choose the other route of trageting more interactive games, which has been an great nice surprise by the industry and consumer.

Sania Mirza Pulls Out Of French Open

World No 32 Sania Mirza has decided not to take part in the upcoming French Open starting on May 25, 2008 due to her right wrist injury. Sania had undergone surgery in Miami, FL on April 10, and the cast was removed on May 05 and how she is undergoing physical rehabilitation. Sania hopes to be ready by June to take part in the DFS Classic in Birmingham which start June 6, 2008.

Last week a project was started in Abu Dhabi on building a city that is suppose to create zero emissions. The city will house 50,000 people and 1,500 businesses with a goal of using extremely little energy. The city is expected to cost around $22 billion, of which $4 billion will be provide by the Abu Dhabi government for the infrastructure. Electric transports will provide door to door service using battery powered vehicles with renewable energy and stored onboard in batteries.

IBM has developed a way to make concentrated photovoltaic cells that are more efficient in converting the sun's energy into electricity. The technology is based on the on technology used to cool computer chips. The main principle behind the technology is to use a large lens to focus light onto a relatively small piece of photovoltaic semiconductor material and thus using only fraction of the semiconductor material. The solution involves placing an ultrathin layer of liquid metal, a compound of gallium and indium, between the two surfaces.

Bollywood Meets Hollywood

Bollywood has taken big steps to enter the Hollywood film market. Anil Ambani , an Indian business man, has announced a investment of $1 billion into Hollywood with a series of deals with top stars like George Clooney, Nicholas Cage, Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt. During the recent Cannes Film Festival news emerged that Reliance Big, the entertainment arm of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, has invested over a $1 billion into Hollywood. Some of the partners include Mr Cage's Saturn Productions, Mr Clooney's Smokehouse Productions, Mr Hanks' Playtone Productions, and more.
India is the largest maker of files in the world, with over 3.7 billion tickets sold every year and more then 1000 films being released each year.

The product is in Beta stage and is a Yahoo product that is developed at the Yahoo India development center and is currently available in India. The search for a given term will display the traditional search results, and now will add search from the Image, Video, Yahoo Answers, and other resources within the same page for more information for the user.

Indian tourist city Jaipur, India was rocked today by Seven synchronised blasts that killed at least 60 people and injuring nearly 100 others, but that will probably rise with time and investigation. The multiple blast went off in a choreographed manner within about 20 minutes. The locations that are initially identified are Tripolia Bazar, Badi Choupal, Chhoti Choupal, Manas Chowk, Johari Bazar and Sanganeri Gate.

Bollywood made it's presences felt at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival being held in Cannes, France. Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was present with the her new family including husband Abhishek Bachchan, father in law Amitabh Bachchan and mother in law Jaya Bachchan. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was at the Cannes as part of her role as a model for L'Oreal and was pictured with Hollywood stars Eva Longoria Parker . Also present was Angelina Jolie with husband Brad Pitt. Earlier in the day Angelina was seen at the premiere of her new animated film Kung Fu Panda along with costars Dustin Hoffman and Jack Black.

Today, India successfully test fired a surface to surface nuclear capable Agni-III missile with a range of 3000 km range. The missile was launced from Wheelers Island off Orissa coast and it achieved its full range and accuracy by reaching its pre designated target in 800 seconds. India now joins a select group of nations having intermediate range ballistic missiles (IRBMs) with ranges upto 3000 kms.

The movie is almost 3 hours long, but you will not be looking at the watch anything during the movie since it's full of drama and action that will keep you hooked to the screen. The movie at times is violent, which is required per the screenplay and story. Aamir has given a great performance and is able to adapt his role between the two characters. Asin Thottumkal has given a great performance as well and will be around Bollywood for a longtime. The movie should do well with the holiday season, but its not a family film. This is were they meet mysterious character named Zayesha (Priyanka Chopra). She is a rockstar with arrogant, bold and headstront attitude. She has a robotic teddy bear named Boo who does all her chores. Where as Karan has a femme robot named QT. In the future world, Karan has to fight the Dr. Hoshi, a villain, in order to win back his love, Sana. Movie Review: Given that the movie marks the debut of newcomer, Harman Baweja, then its a movie with a lot of scifi and then there is the all the big hype before the prerelease. The does have a lot of good special effects but then they forgot about the good script. The movie has move love of the special effect then the story. The story never picks up, and get the emotions stirring like the title of the movie. Harman does know the art of acting and delivery good performance, and does have some nice dance moves. Priyanka is good but is not well utilized in the movie. On the whole the movie is a disappointment. Movie Review: The movie is not the typical Indian movie story and hence could do well, the subject is also a little mature for India. The movie does bring out the subject of homosexuality to main stream film in India. The movie is well directed and Director Tarun Mansukhani is here to stay, plus the music by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani is perfect and energetic. Both John and Abhishek have acted very well and have delivered a great performance. Again Priyanka looks great and now has given back to back good performance.
